New Words

Hello All:

I have on occasion came up with words… some of them very dumb. some of them funny, some of them quite poignant and relevent… I suggest we start a catatory of new words, and we can all add when we wish. They can be real words, or ones we make up. Some you hear from someone else, just anything. This site could be elevated to a scholarly place in the pursuit and dissemination of learned materials, or just be a cesspool of stupidity. In the interest of the latter, I give you my first word for consideration….

Assduck:
Function: Noun.
Etymology: From Blewis, ass + duck.
:A person marked by or exhibiting obsequious behavior, especially unwarrented and superfluous compliment to their superiors, or a person whose actions are driven by desire to gain benefit at the expense of others.

Sally considered Tommy a real assduck for not peppering F-bombs on his boss when asked to work overtime on Saturday, which Tommy knew was their anniversary.

So… Zen Zulu Zombies is now 1 – 1. Tossin Leftovers is 1 – 0, and my other team, Sky Kid is 1 – 1. So far, so good with frisbee. I think we should all stop working and go outside and do something fun. Maybe include some coctails and get the weekend started off right. What would everyone do if they could just leave the office and head outside?

Then again, maybe we should all work. And then work some more. Oh yeah, I’m looking for a job again, so if anyone knows of any opportunities, I’m down for checking them out. I think there might be a career in Cement Pouring for me. I just have to stop smashing my hands.

Yeah, well, that’s all I got. Oh, we need to think of a team logo for Frisbee. Maybe someone from this site can give us a hand.

Firemen, Heros & Fruits

Ok… many of you may see this picture and think… what the hell is this about? Well, let me tell you, it’s a picture of the hardest time I have laughed in a while… And of course, brook is doing his best to make sure he takes the most flattering picture ever (that’s the strangest most contorted look I have ever seen on my face).

Well… Here’s why this picture is funny. So we’re all sitting around the place after a fun pub crawl, enjoying a delicious car bomb, when out of nowhere Nate pulls out this firemans hat. He puts it on, and then says something about saving people. So he asked me if he could try a fireman’s carry to see if his knee could take it. So I say “Have at it!” so he picks me up and proceeds to walk a couple feet around the apartment. We all laugh a bit, then the hat falls off. So Gordie says out of the blue, in only a way an irishman half buzzed up can say: “Boy Nate, at farst ya loooked like a haro, with tha hat… ba than when tha hat fell ooff, you just looked like a couple a faggots.” At which point we all busted out laughing and I almost fell on the ground in tears. So there’s the background on that picture. I just felt it was a story worth retelling. Kudos Gordy… well done!
